...just a thought

I find myself pulled into situations where I am defending and confronting. I can easily dismiss this as "their" fault, but, truth is, it is my own fault for entertaining the idea that the other person would actually understand (as they may or may not be thinking the same thing in reverse). My best approach is to remember my boundaries and respect the boundaries of the other person. Its just a shame, though, when the boundaries become the definition of the relationship
