It was this day 33 years ago that I walked across a stage set up in the middle of the Texas Stadium football field and received my diploma. I graduated from Nimitz High School of Irving, Texas...number 25 out of 455 graduates. Although I wasn't in the top ten, I was in the top ten percent..almost 5 percent. I did receive Who's Who in Math, too. It was an honor and privilege..going to school..being recognized for achievements...and also for learning. I did not know, then, that there are many who do not get this opportunity in life. I am grateful. Later.
